The plastic fuel jerrycans are lightweight and standard equipped with a spout for easy pouring of the fuel. Available in different colors and variants so that it is easy to distinguish between petrol, diesel and other fuels.

The included pouring spouts work best with vertical filling openings such as a car. With horizontally located filling openings, such as a motor, it is best to use a siphon pump or funnel. This is because the jerrycan has to be turned almost completely upside down in order to empty it completely. This creates a vacuum in the jerrycan, which means that it cannot be poured smoothly and evenly.

In terms of price, our plastic fuel jerrycans are the most economical choice. For intensive use, however, we recommend the steel fuel jerrycans. In particular, the closure and pouring spout of these jerrycans are of a better quality and therefore have a longer life. Customers sometimes experience a fuel smell with plastic fuel jerrycans. Particularly under warmer conditions, vapor can be released due to building up pressure in the jerrycan. This is not dangerous and is a feature of plastic fuel jerry cans. Steel jerrycans do not have this because of a different type of closure.
